Which EZmix2 packs do you recommend?

I currently have the included EZmix1 and EZmix2, plus Songwriter's Tools and Mastering2.
Now I'm thinking of adding Vocal Toolbox, Lead Vocals, Mastering1 and/or Ambient, primarily for singer-songwriter and laid-back orchestral stuff. Also using Alloy2, Slate and T-RackS in Logic.
Any suggestions?

The best thing to do is grab a 6 pack...and then
BUY a 6 pack of EZMix packs...

Time+Space has it for about $110...pay in Euros for the best price

Already had one, Larry, different offer but still OK, now wondering which three to pick. Trying to help Mesh as well :)

i also suggest any or all of the vocal oriented preset packs. I've found it helpful when you are working with a new vocal artist. You can cycle through the presets an get a feel for what they like on their vocals. I have a Rapper that always for a particular preset now. I've got it saved as a favorite with his name on it.

The diff producer packs have a bit of everything. So does core expansion. They each have a list of the presets. See which have more of what you're.looking for.  If you're looking for Luxembourg Thrash, Polka, you are on your own.

Not much. For some reason I have Mastering II but not Mastering. Sadly, I've not used it. So I have no review of it.

The Mastering packs are real good. Pretty much for mastering though. I think most of the packs have some mastering presets. The ones you picked should work great for you. I don't have any metal or the Electronic pack. The newest one, Lo-Fi, is the most limited one cuz wgo needs something like that very often?

Didn't realize the loopy... I mean loopers would use the lo-fi stuff sure they do. I've heard plenty of it in loop based. Never put 2 and 2 together. Meshmiester, you will get a lot of use out of that pack. Lo- fi has to be great for taking aloop and changing it. I bet they could do a great Dubstep pack. Maybe the Meshnecter Signature pack. Or Meshex.

LOL...I actually don't do a whole lot of loop based stuff (just use them for instruments or grooves I can't play).......guitar is my main instrument and tend to favor rock/blues/funky jazz......with some electronica for backing.

I'll still check out this Lo-Fi pack........if the "bread & butter" mix packs don't woo me in first.

The ones I'm going for (I think): Lead Vocals, Peter Henderson, and The Mix Toolbox (but still on the fence between the latter and Mastering 1).
Correct me if I'm wrong!

Mesh, get that Mix Toolbox for $20!
When choosing packs, also check the actual preset lists. That's how I found that The Mix Toolbox has a cello preset, for instance, and the Peter Henderson pack a saxophone one (like from Breakfast in America, which he mixed). There's really an ocean of choices, take your time, but do get that cheap Mix Toolbox.

That's a great price on that pack. The Bass pack or Classic amps or Vocals are going to have specific presets but any of the name producer packs will have a bit of everything. Randy Staub is a bit more heavy rock but still usable for other stuff. Chuck Ainley may be a bit more aimed at country but usable for anything. Unless it's Elmer Junkman from Hooterville Records I will get a producer pack cuz they are just making presets they would use. I know everyone is going to rip me for disrespecting Elmer. His hundreds selling album "Cows In The Front Room" by The Swamp Gas Seven is a classic but lets be serious here people. I just surf the browser and look for a Bass preset and don't really care where it came from. I hope no one mistakes The Swamp Gas Seven for Bapu's first band, Eddie and The Methanes. Rolling Stone had an article back in the day, "The Methanes are a great band but it's better if you see them outdoors". I wonder what they meant by that?
