Audio split functionality in FX Chains

    If you get http://ddmf.eu Metaplugin you can do that and more - for now, until you get it in Sonar.
     
    It's shipped with a crossover filter as well.
     
    And you can do the multi instrument stuff too, and throw in VST midi fx plugins.

    But the problem with the Metaplugin is, that it can't load any of the Sonar exclusive plugins. So the most plugins shipped with Sonar can't be used.
    It seems also not possible to easy drag & drop plugins from the browser to the metaplugin gui. Very cumbersome handling.

    That's a valid point.
    I would not object to functionality withing Sonar either.

    You open from disk directly, and a menu item is built for the next time you need it.
    Don't know if Sonar plugins, those that are VST, object to doing this - sensing what the host is.
    Thinking of what is below \Cakewalk\VstPlugins folder.
     
    First look I had at MP, I felt like you do, but now is no issue.
    MP overcomes, for me, about all limitations of routing within Sonar - it simply makes Sonar my choice.
