X1 studio- Opens once then I need to restart computer

Having a problem with Sonar X1 Studio, win7..
I open X1 then when I close the program the X1 won't boot for a second time, No splash screen, just idle nothing.. It might be a win7 problem. I've tried opening from the programs folder as well as the desktop icon. I don't know enough to solve this on my own. I use a E-MU 1212pcie. triple-core, and have 3gigs of memory. I also have Sonar 6 le installed.

    The first question is, have you installed all the updates?

    I can't remember if all the updates need to be installed one after the other so perhaps download the X1d update and try it. If it turns out it wants the others installed first then you can download them all as you will need X1d anyway.

    I noticed that X1 just is not closing completely, If I run the Task Manager after I close X1, I can close X1 in the processes, then I can reboot X1 again. I think I can deal with it, but it is not ideal.
    One of my VST's might be keeping it from shutting down properly, Emulator X3 or Korg Wavestation, might be the culprit, I'll post if anything new comes up.

    I thank you Mudgel, The update to X1c solved the problem, I overlooked that..
