Sonar Platinum CRASH > Kontakt 5 > Normalize And Edison AUTO DETECT

Hi everyone ,
 
Just wondering if anyone can help out ,
 
When i load a new instrument into kontakt
then add a sample (snare) into mapping editor
then i select the portion in wave editor and crop it .
then when select again and i hit normalize 9 times out of 10 sonar crash's immediately.
 
Same with edison load a sample hit auto detect sampler  and sonar crashes .
 
Can anyone assist with what could cause this ?
 
I have reinstalled platinum and tried it on first second and third update and does exactly the same ,
also reinstalled kontakt 5 and edison and still does the same .
 
tried it on new projects and still does the same .
 
?? Anything is appreciated as i need this fixed .

    UPDATE
     
    I have updated Kontakt 5 and tried the same thing out and normalize is now working 9 times out of 10 which is great .
     
    as for edison , i have worked out that if i have the standalone open also i can do my stuff in the standalone the just bring it into sonar .
     
    The most wierd thing is that this problem never exited before today so hopefully they get fixed with either vst or sonar updates .

    You have to ask yourself what changed on your system today.  Sonar hasn't changed.

    Very true

    I did ask myself that , I installed acronis true image and also had the first blue screen of death in 3 years so I am thinking it's that though I can't understand why the standalones aren't doing it , whole computer acting wired / since , so after a quick clone off hdd I am uninstalling it .
