The Winery Dogs

Some really good rocking from a 3 piece.....and live to boot!! Didn't know Richie Kotzen was a finger player....pretty nifty playing.

    Yes, I like them guys.
I also like the sound and style some of the new "super groups" are playing .. Chickenfoot, Black Country Communion, and others.

Good call Mesh, I love The Winery Dogs album, it gets a regular outing in the car.

Same for Chickenfoot and Black Country Communion sylent, they've both produced some excellent 'classic rock' music. And nice to see Sammy Hagar singing with a smile on his face again

I agree Steve, Sammy hasn't looked that alive since his pre VanHalen, Montrose and "Red" days... same for Michael Anthony looking like he's having fun playing again now that I think about it. lol

I just youtubed Billy Sheehan to see what interesting stuff he's done and then ran into The Winery Dogs.....they seem like a cross between Robin Trower and Deep Purple (with some Van Halen licks). Very good stuff indeed.

Chickenfoot is def. on my list of to see bands.....great musicianship there.

Speaking of VH, I saw a live vid of them 2015 (I think) with DLR and his voice is just shot.......I had to listen to the original Mean Streets/Women & Children First albums just to get my faith back.
