Friend in Hospital- Larry Hansen
Maybe some of you know Larry Hansen...just a heads up...he went in for heart surgery today and will be in the hospital for three days afterwards...so if you're the type who sends up prayers I'm sure he would much appreciate it.
If you want to know where he is send me a PM and I'll get you that info in case one of you want to give him a shout.
He didn't seem upset or worried about it and I think that's a great way to be! It is major heart surgery though.

My dad went through a 5 vessel bypass procedure which actually made a big difference in improving his health. Wishing Larry all the best as well in recovering quickly.

Thanks everyone for your support of Larry!!
Update- Larry has successfully gone through surgery. He had a valve in his heart replaced with a "bovine" type of valve. I don't think this is an actual bovine heart valve but rather a valve made from leather...I'm not kidding:) this is what they do now. The valve is said to have a 15 year life expectancy and is superior to a mechanical valve. Two of the three parts of the valve in Larrys heart had grown together. I spoke to him from the hospital yesterday and he is doing great! His doctor has said he will have a LOT more energy now. He sounded good on the phone and should be home soon if he isn't home already. I think we'll see him making music again in no time!
