v110 U73b Compressor | Audified
I just checked & see it's been updated to 110. From the manual-
Calibration – The software model works with real voltages, the same as in the circuit
of the original device, but there are no Volts in the DAW, there are just numbers
between -1 and 1 and the maximum of the the audio signal is related to 0 dBFS. So
the question is how to relate the digital scale with the analog one. Therefore we
added the calibration parameter and you may shift the voltage to set required
headroom and the compressor ideal operation range. Be careful when working with
this parameter. We suggest to set it to the same value as the value of headroom in
your DAW. If you record e.g. to -6 dB in your DAW, you might want to set calibration
parameter to -6 dB as well.

HPF – There is a high-pass filter connected in the circuit in the compressor mode
with around 100 Hz cutoff frequency and 6dB/octave slope. Although this filter helps
to create the unique sound of the U73b compressor, the bass roll-off might no be
suitable for all instruments when mixing or for all genres when U73b is used for
mastering. We have added an extra control to switch this filter off. In the limiter
mode, this filter is permanently turned off regardless on the parameter setting.
Please download U73b Compressor installers from following links. U73b is iLok protected. Use iLok 2 or
iLok License Manager to run the software. Without entering purchased license, the software fully operates for 30 days with no limitation.
