How to hide sustain pedal marks

How to hide sustain pedal marks

Very frustrating... The clips I'm working with have millions of sustain pedal events. So my clips look like this:
 

 
When I'm in notes view however it looks like this:
 

 
How do I toggle this on and off? It's very hard to see what I'm doing if I'm working in the clips view and I can't see my notes!!!!!

    Enable View controller Pane from the PRV View Menu
