Only getting audio through left channel

Only getting audio through left channel

So i set up my new audio interface today and was testing out my new mic , I have the input set too "left 1" which is the mic . But on play back it only comes out the left channel .
 
What am i doing wrong  ?

    Perhaps you've recorded the signal into a stereo track instead of a mono track.
    Change the track interleave to mono there's a little icon along with the Mute Solo Phase etc widget

    Hi. What kind of audio interface do you have? Is the input (on you interface / interface console) panned left?
