MC7 and sysex data

Can Music Creator 7 handle SysEx data?

This afternoon I pulled out my old Roland D50 synth from storage.   This thing is 27 years old, and it is still running on the original battery!!!     All the SysEx programs I have found are old and won't run on an 8-core i7 running Windows 8.1 - I need to back this up ASAP!

If not, can anyone point me at a SysEx program that works on modern hardware/Windows?

Thanks in advance for your assistance!
Lou

This is something I would like to know as well, as I own a Roland D50 too!

I'm not sure I'm understanding what you need exactly.  The only Sysx commands I've used were in a pedalboard for my keys and I don't even use it any more.

MC is capable of receiving and storing Sysx data with projects, here is some info on that.

but it sounds like you want to backup your keyboard's Sysx data independently of the keyboard, which I don't know how to do that.
