Removing Everett update....
I want to remove the Everett update and go back to the previous version. Is that easy to accomplish? Thanks http://axiology.bandcamp.com

Right-click on the SONAR button in the CCC, then choose the version to which you want to roll back.

Well that seems easy enough. Do you mind me asking why? Rocky

I was curious about that myself. It's working fine for me.

I am not the person in the original post but I did roll back to an earlier version yesterday. The reason was that the Drum Maps were not functioning properly in the latest version. (I had posted this elsewhere and was told it is a known problem) BTW Craig, thanks for all the great advice and ideas over the years. You explained MIDI so well in the early days and I built a few of your circuits in my youth. I always looked forward to reading your advice in Guitar Player as well. Richard

not to mention that Noël mentioned a quick fix being released shortly to fix it and in the meantime there is an easy workaround as linked in scooks post. I thought I had already given you the link with the workaround. Hmm!

Dear Mike V. - You did indeed. Noel kindly offered the choice of using the fix or rolling back so I chose the latter. BTW, You should consider changing your handle to Sauron as you are truly "all seeing" :) Thanks again for your help. Richard

Haha. My mouth (typing) can get me in enough trouble. I can't imagine what the expectation of being all seeing would do to me in other's eyes when I mess up. And anyway, after 10 year+ here, folks kind of know mudgel, even though I sign as Mike V. People don't take well to change.

Not sure of its even possible unless you use the CCC for the installation.
If you downloaded the installer into the folder designated by the CCC, and then installed via the CCC there should be a record of each. Installation so that when you right click on Sonar in the CCC installation pane you should get several rollback options. Of you didn't use the CCC then you don't get to roll back.

I believe the automatic process with C3 runs an uninstall of the current version before laying down the selected roll back version. If I were to attempt a manual roll back, I would do the same.

Too geeky? On some forums, that would be the joke of the century.

Original poster here.. Thanks, using the CCC to back off Everett worked. It was the Drum map issue, showed up immediately after install. I've seen the posts on the fix, thanks

I have rolled back manually previously by simply running the installer for the version you wish to return to.
