I wish the Sonar membership program would inspire Adobe for its (outrageously priced underwhelmingly updated) Creative Cloud, but dream on

I would be remiss in not pointing out that the program is only a little over 4 months old, and there were a variety of major changes prior to that. So I expect there to be considerable development in the years ahead.

Thank you. Ultimately the best promotion for our program is our customer satisfaction. We understand that it takes time to earn trust in anything new but we hope once users see the benefits of constant updates, innovation and improvement of the program the value of this will be obvious.

I love Sonar Platinum and all the updates we've been getting. My main complaint is that I don't have enough time to make music as much as I want. Can you include a cloning chamber with the next update so I can spend all day in the studio while my clones perform my job and yard work, etc?

For a program that is only a few months old, I am taking a bow for the guys and girls that have made this. I have had less issues / problems the last few months, than in many, many years. Thumbs up

I have been using Cakewalk for many years going back to the earliest version of Guitar Tracks and I have grown with the DAW and now as a Platinum owner I think there is no better software on the market. The new program is great and I look forward to the monthly updates and new goodies.  I record a variety of music and I strive for the end result to be open and alive.  I want my records to sound as if you are listening to the artists front row center in a good listening room being well balanced but with a live feel and Platinum allows me to achieve that result.  Many thanks to everyone at Cakewalk for producing great software that allows us to create our music and remain competitive.

After working with sonar for many yrs, (I won't count) I switched to Studio One for awhile, but realized that while Studio One has some really cool features, it didn't have a lot of the things that Sonar provided, so, I had to come back... It's like leaving your wife for the other woman, only to realize that, the only reason she's your wife is because you fell in love with her a long time ago...Lets stay together Sonar...

I was cleaning out an old PC and came across some old Sonar 1 and 7 projects. I opened up a bunch of projects in Sonar 1 and 7, saved them as bundles on a thumb drive and opened them up in Sonar Platinum on another machine. Nary a problem was had other than some missing plugs. It's fun visiting those old projects with today's technology. Sonar has come a long way since version 1 and I'm blown away by the smooth compatibility with today's Sonar. Count me in as a fan. Sonar Rocks!!!

I've had many affairs with other software, but it was totally consensual and besides, I always came home to SONAR. I do go clubbing with Ableton Live sometimes, but that's cool because SONAR and Live are friends. In fact I've come home and found them rewiring a few times...not that there's anything wrong with that, of course.

The reality is there's lots of fine software out there but it's all different. Different tradeoffs, different strong points, different limitations. Unlike some people I never felt it was the obligation of software to meet my expectations, but my obligation to find the software that came closest to doing what I needed. SONAR has been doing exactly that for me since 2000, so yeah, I'm a fan.
