Roland OCTA-CAPTURE Digital Input Question

Hi,

Does anyone know if you can still use the free S/PDIf input when 2 Roland UA 1010's are connected together as a pair.

I know you have to connect one digital output to the other units digital input, so that they sync, but does this effect using the free S/PDIF input.

And what happens with MIDI with a synced pair. Do you then get 2 MIDI in's and 2 MIDI outs.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
Reading from the manual (i have the quad myself) the answer to both your questions seems to be yes.

I have had very good experiences with the Roland support I suggest you check with them.
