Plugin issue foreground / background

I have one project already opened and some plugins, which belong to this project (windows recycle off), are shown. When I load another project without closing the first one, I got the problem, that the plugin windows are in front of the new project and sometimes I think, these ones belong to the new project. When I click on one of these plugins the old project comes to front. This is confusing. Is there a chance to hide the plugins of the first project to the background, when I load another one?

I don't think so. If a plug-in is designed to appear in front of an application, and that application has more than one open project, as far as the plug-in is concerned it's a single application so the plug-in appears in front of it.

I agree with Craig. I've programmed Windows applications and that would be the expected behavior.

I think there is a chance: when you open plugins in a Sonar project, Sonar could set a temporary marker for this plugin windows and when another project will be loaded, Sonar could check all markers of the first project and set all eligible windows to background.
