Spectrasonics does not do mailing lists, AFAIK. It would be in keeping with their business practices that any mailings would be opt-in only, but I've not found any option to sign up for newsletters.

In fact, if you log into your account and look under "Latest Info", it's still showing 2.01c as the latest release. And the image for Omnisphere2 still says "Coming April 30". It appears they don't even bother keeping their website up-to-date.

The company could sure do a better job communicating with its customers.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

Omnisphere has been out for a month an a half.  it's a small staff.

already been 3 patches to squash bugs and fix things.

I am glad they are working on the bugs and fixes and not updating their site right now.  that can come in a month or so.

No emails, just figured v2 being new it might have more frequent updates.
I've had great customer support from them so far, hope that continues.
That matters more than updated promo pics.

What makes you think that it is the case?

Anyway - Spectrasonics has never made mails about updates. That's why every instrument (Omnisphere, Trillian and Stylus RMX) has an control button to check for updates. I use this once an month or so (unless I have real problems and want to check before mailing Spectrasonics - a thing that never happened to me to be honest).
