More Advanced Grid Layout / Snap?

It is probably possible, normally when I post a question someone works it out in ten seconds haha but this is something else that has bugged me for several years.
So we all know we can add 'dotted' notes and triplets to the grid snap / grid layout. Is there a way to have more advanced grid layouts. I'm thinking things like 5:3 and 7:5 to make programming MIDI parts MUCH easier, at the moment I have to do it the long way and work out a lot of maths haha.
I programme a lot of progressive and classical music using Sonar that has quite a lot of these patterns of 5 and patterns of 7 ideas rather than just triplets.

Any clues?
I appreciate it is a feature that probably not that many people would care about but how easy would it be to implement if its not already there?

You can enter any tick value as a snap resolution. You only have to "work out the maths" once.
