How to stop freezing to stereo....

I just want to know (if possible) how to stop Sonar creating a stereo track from a mono track when freezing a synth?

Thanks

Make sure the audio track interleave is set to mono. FYI, simple instrument tracks hide the interleave so you will have to split the track before freezing.

I'm sure you can configure the synth itself to only output in Mono. When I created a synth I opted for mono outputs and assuming you opt for left mono, it should render that way.

Split the track - does this mean taking the midi from the simple inst track and moving it to a new specific midi track?

Didn't think of that. I might try that too. Thanks

Right-click in the track strip and select "Split Instrument Track"
