How do I get more options in Splat for Rewire

Currently the only 2 options that I have showing up in Splat for Rewire are Melodyne and Reaper ...
I would like to add  Traction 7 and Samplitude Pro X 2 .....I have no idea how to make that happen ...
anyone ?

Hi. I have used Scook's Tools Editor to get more programs working with SONAR.

The SONARToolsEditor will not help with ReWire. It would be up to the software manufacturers to make ReWire clients for SONAR to use.

I wrote an article that's all about ReWire basics. SONAR is a ReWire host, which means ReWire clients can ReWire into it. However SONAR is not a ReWire client, so it can't ReWire into a ReWire host. Some programs do one or the other, some do both, but most do neither.

The first 3 books in "The Musician's Guide to Home Recording" series are available from Hal Leonard and http://www.reverb.com. Listen to my music on http://www.YouTube.com/thecraiganderton, and visit http://www.craiganderton.com. Thanks!

I may look into that for other reasons like setting up an external audio editor in SONAR ..thanks

I had a feeling that was the case .

Thank you for offering the article , it was a good read ....
It may turn out to be very possible that the programs I have mentioned in my opening post are all rewire host's and they are not configured for the role of being a rewire client. ...that seems to be the impression I'm getting .
At some point in the future I may have to spend the money for Reason , FL or bump up my Abelton Live from intro to something more substantial .....
I'm looking to create more modern sounding music that what I have been doing . I would like to be able to pull those type of sounds into my SONAR projects VIA Rewire .

I did enjoy your article in the new E Zine about creating a guitar chordal composition library
thank you for trying to help me
