Reaktor 5 question....

This is probably something very simple that I'm not (obviously) seeing, but I just couldn't figure out how to use my keyboard controller to trigger Monark (usually there's a setting in the GUI to select Midi Omni, but I couldn't find it ). The only sounds that Monark made were the ones played through my qwerty keyboard. BTW, all of this is in standalone mode.......I also checked to make sure my keyboard controller (Alesis 7.1) worked fine in Kontakt 5 so it's not a controller issue.

Can someone please show me where to set this up correctly?

(sometimes my elevator just doesn't seem to be reaching the top floor.....)

Did you go into settings in the stand alone version of Reaktor and select your midi keyboard's ins and outs?

It's Bass, not Bass.

I did look in settings, but only remember seeing/selecting my Scarlet 2i4's midi ins & outs. Is there another option in settings where I can select between qwerty & keyboard controller? (sorry BD, I'm not at my DAW now to take a look)......

Just go into midi settings in the stand alone version under "File", and select "yes" for your keyboard. Do for both in and out. Mine would look like this:

PCR midi out yes no
PCR 1           yes no
PCR 2           yes no
Kore 2          yes no
Pro 24          yes no
midi  and audio settings is under file on the stand alone.
Every once in a while these settings will just go away and you have to go in and select them again so if you suddenly get no sound you have to go in again. I guess it would be from updates or something. You will need to do that for Kontakt and Massive and any others you have. If you don't do it in stand alone it won't work in your DAW.

You will be on "Rubber Leg Street". I think that was a Pro Wrestling term.

Also used in other Pro surroundings.
