Audreio releases 64-bit VST3 Plug-in for Windows and Mac — Bridging iOS and Desktop
Earlier this year
Audreio released an AU plug-in and an iOS App that connect devices in the music production environment without any additional hardware.
They've now released the
Audreio VST3 plug-in, broadening its platform coverage to bring its core streaming technology to music production on the Mac and PC in Cubase, FL Studio, and Sonar.
In conjunction with
Audreio for iOS (sold separately) users can easily stream audio between any combination of iOS devices and desktop DAWs. Simply instantiate Audreio plug-in in your DAW and all supported devices on the same local network will be available for connecting — no IP addresses to enter and no complicated set-up to deal with.
Audreio Plug-In Features:
- Stream full-bandwidth audio between devices on a local network over WiFi, Ethernet, and even over the standard device cable (30 pin or lightning).
- Broad compatibility (Mac AU and VST3 hosts include Logic, Live, Cubase, Studio One, Digital Performer, Windows VST3 hosts include Cubase, FL Studio, SONAR, Studio One).
- Straightforward, easy-to-use design. No IP addresses to enter, no complicated set-up to deal with.
- Works with Audreio's iOS app (sold separately) for streaming between desktop DAWs and iOS devices.
Audreio VST3 is available for download at
audre.io for $20. Requires a 64-bit VST3 compatible host and OS X 10.8 or higher or Windows 7 or higher.
