Recommend LoopLoft Drum Midi?

I received a $10 off coupon for answering 3 questions in a LoopLoft email survey.  Can anyone recommend a drum midi pack they have used from this company and why you like it? I am primarily a hobbyist, singer songwriter.  I have tons of toontrack stuff and just wondering if it's worth it.  Even with the $10 off I'd still be spending $19.  I use EzDrummer2.
Thanks

You can almost always get another 15% off at their site with a popup. Maybe you can combine them. I have their Linear midi loops 1&2 and The Indie. I don't know of anyone else making Linear style midi loops so they are pretty cool. They work fine with EZ Drummer.  If you know about Linear style I won't insult you. If you don't Google it and watch a guy named Steve Gadd on you tube. Linear is just different enough to make it worth while having, IMHO. If I recall, I have been able to combine coupon and offers so waiting should get you under $15.00 for a pack. They always have some promo going.

Good points by BD. I have quite a few LL MIDIpaks, including the Linear volumes.

I would also take a look at the Long Loops volumes. There are four different ones at the moment (I have all 4). Here's the link to the bundle (50% off):

http://www.thelooploft.com/collections/midi-loops/products/long-loops-bundle

I found these to be easy to build song ideas around. There's a really good variety of different styles spread across the 4 volumes. With the bundle discount, plus your $10, you could get all 4 for $48. That's a real deal. The previews on the bundles page are quite helpful.

Add the Fills Unlimited volume (LOTS of interesting 1- and 2-bar fills in both straight and swung styles), and you can put an awful lot of song ideas together with just those two subsets of the LL MIDI library.

$48.00 for 4 packs is a really good price. And look for the discount code popup. I think the Long Loops 2 has some Linear loops in it too, IIRC.

Most the people here only pretend to be helpful, don't really know anything and are under some form of house arrest. When I get my ankle hardware off you won't hear from me again.

I think you need someone alittle nastier, like Byron Hadley, the toughest screw to ever walk a turn at Shawshank Prison.

FYI 10 dollar coupon can be used on multiple orders. Get world percussion loops for less than 2 dollars.

I got the World Perc yesterday but I got all the formats to have the Wav and REX2 types. I wasn't sure if the Sonar REX player used the REX2 types or not, but figured I could edit the Wav into useable loops.
So, I splurged at $3.60 LOL

I also got the blues bundle for something like 14 dollars. I was tempted to get the whole midi set at 50 percent off, but it's been 75 percent off before.
