The most comprehensive book on Cakewalk synths is still Simon Cann's Cakewalk Synthesizers

Here's an SOS article. There's not a huge amount around.

    http://www.soundonsound.c.../cakewalkdimension.htm

And of course there's the help file which from memory is pretty extensive.

[OH Doh - RapPro on the mind and compiled all this ... I'll leave it here for reference regardless. I do have a Dim Pro Video (i think) ... It was very cheap from the Cakewalk Store ... but seemingly no longer offered)
Here's the Youtube overview http://youtu.be/-2bRI-GP79k ... again/also no longer offered directly from SWA either - dunno about site membership availability(?)].

    ...

Indications from the preview video suggest this tutorial will provide a level of depth:
    https://streamworksaudio.com/swa-kickstart-cakewalk-rapture-pro/

Keep in mind too, and especially if you have Rapture (standard), that much of the content is transposable ... so resources for that will not be redundant.
     er
IMO - Cakewalk are 'missing a trick' by no longer having the the older video tutorials available in their store (for a nice price).

[ EDIT: It appears  that whilst the above tutorial is 'published' through Streamworks Audio, the Author (Mark Struthers) also has a 'First Look' video through his/the Musical Notes site (http://www.musicalnotes.org.uk/) pointing to youtube http://youtu.be/BM-5r3DALsM ]

[ UPDATE: FWIW ... I think element activation/deactivation is more simply done from the Mixer interface than jumping in and out of each element as shown in that vid. ]

[ ANOTHER UPDATE: A closer look at Rapture (Standard) is in 2 parts - chapters 24/25 of SONAR X3 Advanced Workshop.
Part 1 of this is available on youtube - http://youtu.be/hGQ8x7mrIPo  ... Dimension Pro is Chapter 12. ]
