Hi Øyvind, I am not familiar with Stryper, so I googled it, as I always do... I saw this:-  And thought, OMG! But, whatever I may think of that image, and the particular genre (which explains why I'm not familiar with this band) I felt it was necessary to listen to your cover. I also listened to the original version too, as a reference. And what a pleasant surprise. Not the sort of thing I would listen to normally, but this was absolutely brilliant dood... The finished product was right up there. The vocals were great, as was Beep's lead bit (I'm assuming that is what he provided). I can see you've done this before  cheers andy

Great cover. Your vocalist is really outstanding. Two things always bothered me about this song, one was the piano sound. I like a more natural sounding piano and I think your piano sound is much better than the original Stryper version for sure. The other thing was they came in with these giant sounding drums, the bass really sounded like there was no bottom end compared to the huge kick drum sound and overall drum kit. Your version sounds like you brought the key down so there is better support from the bass. Even so, I might put a tad more sub in your bass part. Really fine and professional sounding cover, I think better than the original in many regards.

I saw Stryper once when I was at Knott's Berry Farm. It was a real zoo and they didn't have any vocalist that sounded as nice as yours. If I were you, I'd start lining up a bunch of songs for her to sing!  Nice harmonized noodles from the Beepster too.

@John... They were kind of unique back in the hedonistic days of the LA glam metal era. They had the look, gimmicks and sound but were heavily Christian in their lyrics and attitude. They took a LOT of flak for that (and still do) but kept at it and pumped out a lot of music. I gotta admit to not really being a fan (I'm a heathen thrasher) but this is quite a nice composition and Jarsve's rendition is excellent. Thanks for checking it out.

Sverdets Egg is still my favorite. It has that mostly Babymetal sound you are going for but at points it borders on Melt Banana territory. I freaking LOVE Melt Banana.

LYNN: The new one in sonar platinum. I strugled a bit to find something suting for her. as she has a voice where there are lots of texture. not a plain clean vocal. and this one was the only one that could compliment her in the right way.
