soft tube

You don't need a ilok anymore for these plugs. I was looking at the "Acoustic Feedback" and was wondering how it sounded. If it sounded real? Of if it had a nice effect that wears away quickly?

I heard one of the Softube guys demo it. It was kinda cool, but to me it wasn't really genuine sounding. What I mean is, every note he held, it would feedback an octave or two higher, but the same pitch. So if he held an "A" note, the feedback would be an "A" just a couple octaves higher. Not at all how a real amp would behave. A real tube amp will feedback in a number of ways depending on a number of factors. Like I said it was kinda cool, but I think the novelty would wear off pretty quickly.

Note that even though the physical dongle is no longer required, installing the Pace driver still is.

That good info to know Bit. Thanks. I didn't research enough.

@ lead, that's what I was afraid of. I agree with you. Not how a real amp works.

It can be a neat effect when used subtly and with a bit of finesse -- automating the parameters helps.  Don't expect miracles, but I know of no similar plugin.  Worth playing with a demo to see if it'll work for you.
