Drum Replacer Enhancements Coming this month

New enhancements coming to Drum Replacer later this month
Drums are the backbone to any great song which is why Cakewalk Drum Replacer is an essential tool for your drum production workflow. And now we are raising the bar with new enhancements that make Drum Replacer even better and faster. Create, erase, and customize your own hit markers with individual velocity adjustment. Disable and enable groups of sequential hit markers with a simple right & left click swipe gestures. FLAC support now expands your pool of one-shots so that high-quality drum samples and .sfz files from Session Drummer are more compatible with Drum Replacer. To complement this, we’ve even expanded the range of MIDI Notes that Drum Replacer produces to note values 35-53. The newly implemented Filter OFF Mode detects ALL hits regardless of their frequency center - streamlining the replacement process extensively.

Maybe (just maybe), for me, one day DR will replace my Trigger2 & Drumagog programs.

    Nah....

But I am happy that CW has made such a tool for its user base.

Did you know that Bill Jackson made a little Utlity you can use to create new sfz's thereby expanding the amount of drums available to use for replacement. Actually you can build a library of drums from all your samples. Why stop at drums.
