Disable 'Pin Plugin Window' feature?

I don't really care for the pin plugin window option for the plugin windows. I like to drag my plugs side by side and would like SONAR to remember the options I set. When I disable the pin option, I get the windows I want, but I have to set them every time I close the plugin window.

Is there a way to make these settings persist once set?

1. Insert Waves plugins(2) chain into master bus
2. Bring up plugin #1
3. Bring up plugin #2 - it occupies the same plugin window as plugin #1
4. Click plugin #1 to bring it to focus.
5. Disable the pin plugin option and drag plugin to the side
6. bring up plugin #2 - original spot hasn't changed from where it was before and pin option still set
7. close both plugin windows

At this point, the pin plugin window setting is not remembered and I have to reset it every time I want to view plugin #1 and #2 at the same time.

Can I disable that feature??

Yes - there's a setting (Don't recycle plug-in windows?) in Preferences (VST settings?).
