Cakewalk CA-2A

Curious about this plugin. I bought it a good while back and can load it in the ProChannel just fine. Today, I tried to load it in the FX bin, but I can't seem to get it to load. I thought this was a VST and PC plugin? I can see it in the Plugin Manager, and it is shown in my layout while in the Plugin Manager, but as soon as I try to add it to an FX bin of an audio track, it is no longer visible in the layout, nor in the default layout when I switch to that.

Any ideas anyone?

Regards,
Dan

Do you have VST3 migration enabled and the VST3 version of CA-2A installed? This may prevent access to the CA-2A dll as a regular VST2.  The VST2 dll serves double duty as a regular plug-in and PC module. Try using the VST3 version in the FX bin.

That was it. The layout was imported from X1, so it was pointing to the VST2 file rather than the VST3. Fixed, and thanks!
