I heard this yesterday and really enjoyed. Pro sounding mix to my ears for sure. Not sure if you updated the Bandcamp version, but for some reason today, I get a few seconds in and the audio stops. Tried it twice with same results. The counter still counting down but no audio from about :45-.

Hey Grant, I just checked and the song is playing all the way through on Bandcamp. It does look like they are having bandwidth issues because I can see the bar fill and usually it just fills up as soon as you hit play. You may need to refresh the page to get it going again.

Thanks for listening and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Hi Dan,

This is great. I especially liked the string parts. It has a nice even easygoing flow or vibe to it. Perfectly in time as far as I can tell. It would fit well in any relaxing or easy listening play list as low back ground music. The mix is perfect to my ears. I didn't listen to anything but soundcloud and it sounded ok to me. I know the original mix probably sounds much better. I seen you tagged the song as pop and something else...just a sugg....you can add as many tags as you want, like "relaxing"or something to do with the title like "spring song" ...people search for songs that might be about a subject too.
You can also join groups on SC and get your song out that way. Pardon me if you already knew this but I didn't know if you knew :)
At over 5 minutes the song isn't for ADD or ADHD types...I found that I needed to really slow down to listen to the whole track with most songs going from 3 to 4 minutes.

Thanks Tim! I thought you had already heard this one since it was published back in April? Anyway, thanks again for the feedback!

Beautiful song, Dan! I was definitely getting the vibe of the snow melting away, the earth coming back to life, and the animals shaking off their winter slumber. I felt like the drums, especially the snare, needed to come up a bit in the mix in spots, but I listened to the soundcloud version, so maybe that had something to do with it. Regardless, it's a wonderful song that that really lives up to the title. Thanks for posting this!

I know what you are referring to regarding the snare. I've been meaning to fix it, but I've been sidetracked, lol. Thanks for listening and for the great feedback!

Hey Dan.  You haven't forgotten how to produce and play.  This sounds like an easy sell for a movie soundtrack, during an outdoor scene, obviously.  Great stuff!

Well, to be honest, I've been playing around with Ableton Live... although I still think Sonar Platinum is pretty awesome.  I just wish I could use them together effectively!  But Sonar can't be a Rewire slave, and although Ableton can be either a master or slave, when Ableton is in slave mode, lots of features are disabled, including my Push controller, which is a deal breaker.

Anyway, I still do use the Cakewalk Synths a bit, as well as some of the FX plugins, even if I'm doing so via a different DAW now.  So I figure I can probably post here from time to time in good conscience. :)  It certainly is a great community here.  Very open and helpful, not to mention appreciative of each other.  Which I appreciate! :)
