Occasional recorded take delayed by a noticeable fraction

Anyone else experiencing this?
 
I will be recording a vocal and then one particular take gets delayed.
 
It is an easy fix to just simply align the take manually.
 
Just wondering what is causing this, a hiccup in my processor or program bug?
