Oh yeah... Happy Canuckerland Day (and/or St Jean Baptiste Day)!

I'm sure I'll be listening to drunken hosers milling around outside my building tonight hooting and hollering and setting of novelty munitions.

Love my country but I do that every day (love it that is... no hooting or small explosions necessary). CD is kind of like St. Patrick's day for Canucks IMO. Just for the casual, lightweight patriots who are more interested in getting looned, loud and loused than actually giving a fart.

Still though... have a safe and fun one, eh?

Happy Canada day Beeps.

My gift to the CH on Canada day is my special recipe for a Canadian breakfast. The Canadian Taco.

Start by making some pancake batter.
To the batter you add a dash of vanilla extract and a pinch of pumpkin pie spice.
Let the batter stand for 10 minutes and while you are waiting cook up a pan of maple bacon. Don't over cook it. It should be well cooked but still pliable, not brittle.
Make a large pancake, about 8 inches across.
Take the pancake and lay 3 or 4 pieces of bacon down the middle of the pancake and drizzle with maple syrup.
Now top with some crushed walnuts and some whipped cream.
Fold it up like a taco and enjoy.

CAUTION:
Health Canada has determined that eating these after the age of 50 could be harmful in your journey to age 60.

Regards, John

Heheheh. You forgot to add it should all be washed down with a "Red Eye Ceasar"... with Molson Export, Stock or perhaps Labbat's 50 for the bubbly "red eye" component.

Damn... I wish I had some Clamato in the house.

(for you yanks that's clam and tomato juice... and it is just as delicious/disgusting as it sounds).
