Is Presonus' Studio One 3.01 update what Presonus Studio One 3 should have been?

Man I'm shocked. Its still brand new and there's all these bugs. I want my money back.

Mind you the remote control app for S1 has just been released too and it's looking rally cool. I'd love to have a Sonar equivalent.

It is still a million times better than X1 was. I have had a totally bug free experience with 3.0.

But X1 isn't the competing product Sonar Platinum is and it's been bug free for me.
I go and look at the Studio One forums frequently and there's plenty of complaints and bugs being reported.

Re: Studio One 3.01 update available 2015/07/03 04:29:05 (permalink)
I see the Studio One V3 from V2 quite a large change, very similar to Sonar 8.5 to X1 which was a disaster as we all know. (do you guys remember that one) And far worse than the  S1 V2 - V3 transition.

For many the V3 Studio One transition has been very good. It is only natural that such a major upgrade has a few teething problems. (which I have had very little or none. I have been doing projects on V3 no issues at all and that really tells the story)

I am sure 3.01 has already sorted out many issues from 3.0. You will find by the time they bring out 3.02 it will be perfect again like it was before.

Perhaps the guys at Studio One forum would enjoy me going over there and espousing the virtues of Sonar Platinum on their forum.

Mike,

You may not want to do that as I see quite a few Ex-Sonar users over there, They would probably have you for lunch!

Purrrfect Audio DAW here.  Wow!...

I have Studio One 3 and make a very rare comment over there. Like here there's lots of helpful folks and a few not so nice folks and a few ex Sonar users who always denounce the evil Cakewalk empire.

Interestingly one who used to be a vocal Sonar hater when using X1 is now doing that with Studio One 3.

Some folks just gotta hate.
