CWBRN-33966 PRV incorrect selection bug

Create notes on two midi tracks, in the same time range; view both tracks in PRV.    Add some controller values.

Select a group of notes on one of the tracks.   Copy, paste:   you will have copied and pasted the controllers from both tracks.

Another source of endless puzzlement and frustration in working with sonar platinum.

Although maybe not totally intuitive or useful as implemented, technically I think this feature is working as advertised. There's no mention in the description of Select Controllers With Notes that it's track-specific when multiple tracks are open in the PRV:

"When the Select Controllers Along with Notes option is enabled, selecting a Note event or a range of Note
events will also automatically select any Controller events that exist within the time range of the Note event(s)."

I checked and it's worked this way as far back as S8.

Might need to be moved to the Feature Request forum.

I think we should see things from a user perspective (since we are users, no?) and not try to justify the manual and send the user to the FR forum section even before he receives reply from the developer.

The statement in the reference guide doesn't say "any Controller events that exist in the PRV within the time range of the Note event(s)". So if your interpretation is acceptable, an interpretation that selecting a Note event or a range of Note events will also automatically select any Controller events in the project that exist within the time range of the Note event(s) should also be possible. But, in reality, only the controller events of tracks shown in the PRV are selected.

cw support sent me something like, can't confirm it.   Grr.   It's real, it's annoying, it should be fixable.
