Very nice Ken! Good guitar, bass and drum tune. The only critiques I have are:

    1) The kick is very hard to hear, and could use some low end as well. This would also help compensate for the lack of low end in the bass, which sounds quite good just the way it is.

    2) The panning effect on the guitar really should be used sparingly. It can be tiring for a whole song.

    Hi Ken,

I like the guitar lead, but I have to agree with Dan with regards to the panned guitar effect. That has to go I'm afraid, or at least tempered quite a bit.

I also like the drums to have a bit more width across the stereo spectrum. But that's just my personal taste.

    cheers

Sounds to me like the kick is competing with the bass, little touch of surgical EQ to both should eliminate that.  Like Andy a tad more width on the drums would be nice, thanks for sharing.

Nice one Ken. Love the bass on this, really cuts through.

^ Agreed. I could imagine two guitars panned left and right playing complimentary parts to get a similar effect.

Really enjpyed the piece. Cool idea about the panning guitar but I agree it gets distracting after a while. James's idea sounds like the ticket for that.

You got some good advice, but I want to tell you that I just love the modulation on the guitar.  It reminds me of the f/x that Adrien Belew got with King Crimson.  I must find that effect in my toolbox.

    All the best,
    Lynn
