Sonar project startup error message
Hello - I recently installed my Sonar on a laptop (64 OS) and it worked okay for a while but now I am getting this error message:
"Cannot open MASTER.INI. No instrument definition will be available" ???
When I click OK on this, my project will open and look okay, but playback does not go - My interface is designated as the default sound card! Need help please with one or both of these issues... Thanks !

To create a new Master.ins, hold the SHIFT key and start SONAR.

Ok thanks - never heard of that --- ps: - other weird thing, the demo audio file plays just fine - sounds super - then switch over to my project - no playback....

ok - that shift start up method took care of the INI problem. On that no-play project, as soon as I hit play - now I get that audio drop out message....if that helps any. Could one of my plug-ins be causing this? I assume I don't need to jack with my buffer and latency setting since that demo project works fine and I have not altered anything there from the default settings on start up
