Anyone use Windows Media Player (or Center)?
So I'm wanting to record visualizations (Whitecap, Aeon, Softskies) to edit in Vegas Pro 12 to sync with my music. I loop the song and use Bandicam to record the visualizations and it works great but the only problem is I can't figure out a way to turn off the annoying song info that pops up when the song starts and ends. I've gone through all of the menus and googled the hell out of it but no luck. Surely there's a way to turn this "feature" off and I'm hoping one of my fine friends here can tell me how to do so? Thanks very much, Randy

Time how long the info stays on screen for. Add that much blank audio to the start and end of the track so the caption is never on screen at the same time as the audio is playing....

Yessir, Alchemy is my favorite of the free plugs. I'm really getting into the visualization aspect...the devs of the ones I mentioned above sent me some scripts that can be used to further manipulate the visuals...I don't know if I'm smart enough but I'll definitely try. You might be interested in trying these demos if you have a similar interest.

batsbrew i like Winamp the best.
Cool, can you elaborate as to why please?...other than playing a quick listen to an mp3 I don't use media players. Thanks very much, Randy

If you have a LARGE collection, MediaMonkey's the best.

A large collection of music I want to listen to or visualization packs (I've only bought 3 so far)? Like I say I don't usually use these kinds of players...Karyn's workaround works well, it's just kind of a pain to add 10 seconds or more to the head and tail. I'm guessing all players are created equally when it comes to video quality right? Thanks very much guys, Randy

Hmm... I've got a few visualization add-ons for MediaMonkey, but I really haven't had time to play with them. I'm still loading the player and have a few months of work still to go! (About 300,000 songs!) If I get a chance to try out the visualizations I'll add an update review.
