It won't get any nits and gnats from me Rob. Great song, I enjoyed that. Vocals were great. I wish I could still listen to Redwood Road though because I enjoyed that too, and it would be nice to hear the two one after the other. cheers andy

THANKS ANDY..... i had to let go of redwood road, to get to this one... but i might go back and re-mix that one better, after this project is complete..... i had balance issues with the stereo drum track on 'redwood', that i tried to address in this new version. i'm very close, but still not quite there yet. i had to fix the balance issue during mastering, and i want to fix it in the mix first.

Jaw dropping guitars, pro vox, innovative songwriting, brilliant production. Another day at the office for Bat. How is it you're not playing to sold out arenas every weekend?

batsbrew i had balance issues with the stereo drum track on 'redwood', that i tried to address in this new version.
Ah... Yeah, I'd forgotten all about that Rob. And now that you mention it, on yet another listen, the snare and kick are still a touch to the left still. Perhaps not as much... I can't remember. But it's funny how I didn't notice this when I listened to Angel the first half dozen times... I should pay more attention, and my only excuse is that I was enjoying the song so much edit:- Actually, at around a minute in, the drums are more central, and then later on drift a touch over to the left again... I dunno... perhaps it's just me... Gotta say though, that this is a non-issue really because it doesn't affect the rest of the song in my opinion...

it's just you. LOL i could get into a whole thread, just about using waves S-1 imaging tool to pull the drums to center, and how i used certain compressors, limiters and eq to get what i wanted out of it... but hell, i'm still figuring it out!! LOL again........ not many people hear these things, and maybe that's a good thing. maybe, it just does not matter. at least, that's what i hope.

Gonzo, Great, Great song on this one. The production is totally awesome and the whole song keeps playing in my head after it is finished and while I'm typing this note. I sure wish I could play my guitars, but this chemo has my hand all tingly and I can't play a note anymore. I am having a hard enough tie just trying to type this note, and that's a big step for me these days. Great work on this one. I bet you would love my Digitech GNX4 and all the presets I have created in it, like 160 awesome one button presets raring and ready to go. Well, keep up the great work and have fun. Live is short, so enjoy every moment you have. Keep the awesome tunes a com'in!! Peace and blessings, John

I have never seen you come out with anything that wasn't great! This is no exception. I love that busy bass happening underneath..has that 70's rock band vibe which I love. Great chops+ great rig =stellar performance every time! Being a synth guy, I could hear some pads happening in there in places tho ;)
