Converting Files

How do I convert old Cakewalk Pro Audio files to Sonar X2 or later files?

    Easiest is to open with the newer version and immediately "Save As..." with a new name.

    No conversion required, but you may have plugins missing depending if still on your machine or not.

    If you still have access to Cakewalk Pro Audio you can save it as a BUN file and then open that directly into Sonar X2
