AAS Virtual Analog users, can I assign filter control indirectly?

AAS Virtual Analog users, can I assign filter control indirectly?

I want to control filter cut off to breath control, but still be able to use the filter knob to make adjustments. If I use midi learn, then the breath controller has complete control of the knob, the only adjustments I can make are seting min and max.
 
So I am wondering, is there something else I can assign breath control to, that also affect the filter cut off, but allows the main knob to be unassigned, so I can still use it to tweak.

    Yeah I have a post somewhere there from 7 years ago, and resorted to emailing directly. Guess I'll give it a go.
