Amplitube 3 real time monitoring

Hi there!! I have Amplitube 3 installed on my Sonar X3 Producer but only hear the effect I chose AFTER  I've played my piece - is there a way to be able to listen to what I'm playing WITH effect in real time?? Thanking you all in anticipation.

    I believe you have to click on the input echo button on the track.

    How are you inserting the effect? You should be able to monitor in more or less real time if you arm an audio track, turn on "input echo," and add Amplitube to the FX bin.
