    Very nice Bat.
I truly appreciate nature with the all peace & quiet.....away from the city life. You have a bit of paradise right in your backyard. :)

    Stunning Rob.

What camera do you use (which is secondary to the images taken, I hasten to add).

I kinda knew I wouldn't like the answer haha!

It's just amazing what quality pictures you can take with smart phones and the like now. Makes a mockery of me lugging around my D7100

I wish I lived somewhere that beautiful, Bat. I'm spending next week along the North Shore of Lake Superior. It won't be as beautiful as your photos, but almost.

When I was a young Beeps up in Northern Ontario the small town I grew up in had wonderful hiking trails. My step grandparents were also heavy into cross coutnry skiiing so we did a lot of both (hiking in the summer, x-country skiing in winter).

I freaking miss all that. When I was a young man it was all about being too busy and completely enveloped by urban sprawl. Now, even if I had the time, other obvious factors prevent the old wanderlust from being fulfilled.

No more Waltzing Matilda for me.

I had family in Thunder Bay so I'm familiar with the area. On a motorcycle trip I went around the great lakes and found Superior to be superior. On the U.S. side of the border there's a little town called Grand Marais in Minnesota. What a beautiful little town on the water. You'll enjoy the scenery and the oxygen rich air.

    Regards, John

John, I spent my first 28 years in northern Mn and most of my family and relatives still live there. I love the North Shore and Grand Marais is one of my favorite little northern destinations. From there we will turn and head up the Gunflint Trail. The scenery along the lake is gorgeous. It's always nice and cool as well.

One of my Dads cousins used to live in Thunder Bay, I'm not sure he is still around.

    Hi,

    Beautiful pic's!

Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!
