what is the difference between a sock and a camera?
A sock can take five toes. I thought I'd post some of my "better" pics taken with my DSLR, seeing as I can't match Rob's smart phone pics...

Nice pics Andy....very clear considering they're in motion. (of course flaunting your private car collection isn't nice for those of us trying to get a car with good gas mileage)

Yeah... I only use those on Sunday... The trick is to pan while keeping the car in frame while using a shutter speed slow enough to blur the wheel motion. So the car is in focus but the wheels ain't

Laundry, dishes, tax chicannery and various other meatworld annoyances that have fallen to the wayside due to other recording. I do however have a project currently opened that pontificates what folks do when they no longer need to defile socks (but perhaps the cameras remain nervous of their fate). Fret not. Fretting is imminent.

Perhaps I should explain the, erm... joke It's based on a particular UK dialect so I doubt if many would understand it. So, the joke goes, what is the difference between a sock and a camera, a sock takes five toes, whereas a camera only takes photos. In this dialect, "toes" and "tos" (from the end of photos) sound similar. Also, "four" and "pho" also sound similar. Hence, four toes, for photos.

As I wandered the island that is Britain from souf to norf and back again I encountered many colorful accents. Some more challenging to understand than others. I even managed to understand the Scots in Glasgow and Edinburgh. The ONLY place where I simply could not understand a bleeding word anyone was saying was in Newcastle. Geordies... what up with that? /did not pass through Wales

Well, in Wales they do, indeed, talk a completely different language ( which is also spoken in some parts of South America). Bob Oister Q: What is Fe Fi Fo, Fe Fo Fi Fo? A: Mike Tyson's phone number
LOL cheers Bob I'm glad you spotted the pictures...
