"Outside the wall" removed

I half remembered this Pink Floyd tune from the wall, had a bit of fun with it. I can't use my right hand for fingerpicking anymore, had to use a pick, a very thick one can't hold on to thin ones, is the pick noise distracting ?  Anyway , have a listen if you like :

    Got that Rik, thanks

Isn't this "Is There Anybody Out There?"

I see what you mean now about the pick noise. It is quite noticeable, more so because it is quite high pitched I think. Do you think you could develop a technique that would reduce that? It sounds like the string is being hit, with the pick resting on it momentarily before releasing the string.

It's still a lovely recording Rik.

    cheers

I would have been happy to have played that.  I can overlook the pick noise.  Well done, Rik.

Hi Andy, this is sort of "is there anybody out there"  ; ) I guess a 1/4 inch thick bone pick is Always going to make a lot of noise ; )

Hi Lynn, thanks, glad the noise doesn't bother you.

    Rik,

Sounds good to me, pick is not in the least bit distracting or annoying.  The chord progression is a little James-Bond'ish sounding.  Listened thrice so it must be good:)

    Hi Rik,

    beautiful as always!
I believe it doesn't matter how many or few or meticulous notes you play. it's what they carry with them.
This sounds like it's coming straight from the heart.
    Thanks for sharing!
    All the best,

didn't notice any bad pick sound, that's probably because you wisely chose a hard pick and didn't mic too close.
    great guitars !

Hi Wouter, thanks for listening. Glad you like the guitars, I can't use mics, my lungs make to much noise these days, so the guitars are di'd.

That looks as beautiful as it sounds Rik.

I've had an EKO ranger 6 since 1979 and it's a little bit worse for wear, having done a botch job of trying to fit a pick-up...

I'd love one of those though, even if I can't justify it... I'll hang it on the wall next to my PRS
