Meter behavior question? Not sure why I have to check "hold peak", "lock peak" every time

Meter behavior question? Not sure why I have to check "hold peak", "lock peak" every time

"Lock Peak", "Hold Peak" are my preferred way of evaluating gain staging.. but I have to put checks on them in the console view every single time I open the project.. Shouldn't it remember my preference? Would like to avoid these extra steps... Thanks in advance if you have any suggestion for me.

    Hi. In the Console View, under options, you can choose / change meter behavior (recording, playback, buses and mains). It seems to me to be on a per project setting (only checked on my laptop).
    Others may know better.
