From this barstool, it sounds good. The cymbals sure got soundclouded (really flangey) but bass/guitar/drum balance sounds good.

I can barely hear those background vocals, maybe bring them up a tad?

I guess why I like it so. I've heard you play in many genres over the years and you can still surprise me. Ed certainly has a way of writing things that challenge guitarist, I think he likes to make us sweat.  Ed's really doing a great job on these and knocking the mixes out of the ball park in record time.

Ed, it's a fun song.  I like the instruments and the vocals but the vocals seem to be a bit too bright.  It could be my "travel"  earphones.  But everything else seems full so...... Anyway, you have been a busy boy.  With all your synths and stuff you are becoming quite independent.  Good for you.  I really want to get back to work on my tunes and soon will, I hope.  Keep pumpin' them out!

Fun tune...   It's got a nice head-noddin' groove going on, instrumentation sounds wide and phat, and the solos are real solid.

But I have to say that what really sealed the deal for me was the SoundCloud picture.

The mix is good - your mixes always are good

the melody of the song - maybe try to use more intervals in between notes in the melody  and don't end every phrase on the same note always - try plucking out melody on piano when you write

it's a nice ditty though - Ringo would sing it the same way you did -- and Ringo was a Beatle so ... that's good

    nice little ditty Ed!

Really great work here, Edster and James!!!

Cool song with a nice retro 70's vibe, sort of reminds me of "The Band".  Excellent job on the vocals, harmonies and production, Ed, and James' tasty guitar work and stellar tone really took it up a notch!

Thanks for the listen. In may car the vocals seem just about right. Maybe it's my ears (or my voice ).
