Do I need a firewire 800 card for a mackie blackbird onyx?

I am slowly building a new pc.  Because of my $ situation I have to do it in baby steps.  I just bought some new hard drives.  A ssd samsung 500g and a WD black 1tb.  I am thinking ahead to the new motherboard.  they don't come with firewire.  so I need a card.  Do I need a card with 800 mbs?

No, those are firewire 400 connections on the back of the blackbird.
