Kilimanjaro

Here is a new one that struggled to be born as a jazz song. After 5 years of opening the project and having no idea what to do with it, I deleted everything except the opening guitar and added a simple kick beat. After that, it was "easy", lol.

I really like this. Everything is clear in the mix and those vocal samples work very well. A nice upbeat tune Dan. Loving that flute... And the percussion. Top stuff

Must have missed this before...    Not much I can add to what's already been said - great piece.   IMO it's "pro" all the way.   The mix clear and wide, as yours usually are.  But the composition and arrangement is what I really liked best.   Everything about it just captures the feel.    Love the vocal "chants" too - perfect for the tune.   If I heard it on a documentary or something like Nat Geo I wouldn't be at all surprised.

    Thanks Steve! NatGeo...I wish...

Lovely track Dan, really uplifting. Great jangly guitar tone, reminds me of Dominic Miller.
