Floating Event Inspector

Dear Cakewalk,

In the old times before Skylight I used to keep the Event Inspector as a floating toolbar over the PRV, very convenient while editing Midi. Now it is anchored to the Control bar, and using it has become less so, since I prefer keeping the CB hidden to save screen space, besides the fact that the mouse must travel much more, instead of having it floating near the notes I'm editing.

Would it be too difficult having a floating Event Inspector back?

Regards,
J.

Since you don't use the CB, you can get a floating Event Inspector by floating and resizing the CB like this:

I did not say I do not use it, I said I keep it hidden, just a "C" away, while editing in the PRV. I also keep visible a floating Event List window conveniently resized.
