internet outage = rapture pro forgets all settings and existing authorization

We had a lightning storm the other night, and I lost my internet service for 2 days.  During that time I figured I would work on some music projects.
 
I opened up one of my projects, which includes several different synth tracks, including 3 instances of Rapture Pro (latest version 2.00.2.541), as well as various other synths from Cakewalk, Arturia, NI, etc.  All my synths were working fine FOR A WHILE.
 
Then after doing some editing work for maybe half an hour, I started noticing some intermittent gaps in the audio output of the Rapture Pro tracks.  Again, all other synths still working perfectly fine.  I quit and restarted my DAW (I'm using Ableton Live for this project), and now all 3 of the Rapture Pro tracks have been reset to the "Default Program" patch, and all my patch selections and customizations were gone!  Apparently, it was now running in Demo Mode (even though it had been previously working just fine, and fully authorized on my computer).  It told me to re-authorize using CCC, but obviously I couldn't do that with my internet connection being down and waiting for the repairman to come (which didn't happen until this morning).
 
So now, my internet is running, and I re-ran CCC, and it connected fine.  And now I go back into the project and Rapture Pro is no longer running in Demo Mode, HOWEVER my 3 instances of Rapture Pro are still using "Default Program", and have forgotten my patch selections and customizations.  Okay, sure, I can go back to an old saved version and figure out what patches I had used, but this should not be necessary!
 
I consider this a major problem with the new auth system of Rapture Pro.  I'm not stealing/pirating anything!  My software is correctly authorized.  I'm a loyal Cakewalk customer for 10+ years.  But I tried to use RP one time yesterday without an internet connection and it reset all customizations and authorizations.  None of my other synths had any problems.
 
THIS IS BAD BUSINESS, CAKEWALK TEAM.  Want to know what I spent my time doing last night after I discovered what Rapture Pro was doing (and it took me a while to even figure out what was going on)?  I was thinking about ways that I could NOT USE RAPTURE PRO IN MY PROJECTS ANY MORE.
 
Please fix this ASAP.  Requiring an active internet connection at all times is ridiculous, and unneccessary burden/obstacle.  This requirement needs to be removed!  ESPECIALLY after my computer was already authorized!

PS - By the way, in the reporting process, there is no entry in the product pulldown menu for "Rapture Pro", so I had to use "Rapture" instead.
