Vibraphone Jam

Thought to try something a little different than my last compositions. Turned out better than most. Even my wife liked it. That is progress Comments always welcome.

Nice job. Vibes seems way too loud on the left. The composition is sophisticated which I like. Drums seems too soft. The vibes keep coming in and walk over the groove.

Bring up the drums and bring down the vibes. Maybe change up the vibes arpeggio pattern.

Well, I like the vibraphone, but have never used it in such a large part of a song.  My old Yamaha keyboard actually had a good vibe sound.  It's about 25 years old.  This is a good jam but I did tend to wear out on the vibraphone sound.  I didn't have the left side volume problem that Rim did, but do agree the drums were just a bit light.  This is ambitious and well done.

Interesting and different, mix seems to comes across reasonably well here, agree with what is said above about the vibraphone being a little to dominant in places.  Thanks for sharing.

That was certainly different...  A bit avant garde.  Never knew where it was going next!

About the only that consistently sounded "off balance" to me were the drums being on one side... a lack of anchoring.   Otherwise I liked how different sounds kept appearing and disappearing from left and right.
