Windows 10:Tascam FW1884

I upgraded to 10/10 WINS aka Windows 10; using the Tascam FW1884. Everything went remarkable well. I ran the latest Sonar Platinum 64, Gloucester. Good so far. After a cold restart the trouble began. Windows installed its "what's best" 1394 Host Controller. Needless to say, I had to re-install the 1394 OHCI Compliant Host Controller (Legacy)
Looks good for now.........Sounding great too...........

Thanks for this report.  It makes sense you would have to reapply the legacy firewire driver.

Question: what version of Windows did you upgrade from?  I assume it was 7, because we had so much aggravation with 8.

I upgraded from Win 8. Although I had issues with Windows 8 until about 3 months ago when another Forum thread pointed me to KB2970191 (this seems to be the best of my recollection 'I did a search to find').
